I was so impressed by all the "magical moments" at Glengarry Hospital for the birth of our son - its caring and well-trained staff and the high quality of its facilities and other services - that our family moved temporarily from Paris to Perth to have our third babe at Glengarry. From Milo in the morning to nurturing midwives and nurses in the afternoon - and talented doctors thrown into the mix, I have not experienced any better hospital in the world. Thanks to the Glengarry team for delivering another gorgeous babe into our arms!
My magic moments were when I had my 2 daughters at Glengarry back in 2001 & 2003. The staff were wonderful, especially with my first born being premature, they were so helpful and supportive. I notice that both my obstricians are both still working with Glengarry, so that says something about the place too. It is a memory I hold dear of my time living in Perth.
During my stay at Glengarry, I found the level of care and compassion provided by all staff, from the tea lady, to the nurses and doctors to be amazing, they genuinely made an effort to accommodate my every request. Unfortunately, I had to be transferred to another hospital due a need for higher care. The real magic was when the Glengarry Boronia Ward Nurse Supervisor called the new hospital a day after I had been transferred to make sure that I was ok. That level of care is unheard of and IS REAL MAGIC. Thank You.
I have had the absolute pleasure of having my three beautiful daughters at Glengarry over the past 3.5yrs. All 3 were prem & have had other medical issues. The midwives have been supportive, caring, knowledgeable & understanding. I wouldn''t even consider recommending any other hospital. Thank you for giving me my precious girls :)
Glengarry's 35 year anniversary also coincides with my little sister's 35th birthday, who was born at Glengarry when I was 5 years old. I remember going to visit my Mum in hospital with my other sister and brother. I am also hoping to have my own baby there this October, so carry on the great work
"Good Evening, It takes quite exceptional circumstances for me to write down my comments regarding treatments by any organisation. Today, I had an exceptional experience. I was overwhelmed with the professionalism and high standards of staff and facilities at Glengarry Hospital. From the moment I was met at reception, to being introduced to my admissions nurse, I received customer service which went over and beyond my expectations. Every nurse, doctor and general staff member I met today wore a smile and were genuinely happy to assist patients. This is a striking compliment to managerial staff, who obviously look after their staff. There were many others that were genuinely helpful, however I have forgotten their names or unfortunately they did not introduce themselves. It appears as though every staff member I met today was extremely proud to work at Glengarry Hospital. The only minor thing I can fault is that I would have liked to mention more staff I met today, however they didn't all tell me their names. Congratulations on managing one of THE best hospitals I have ever been to (certainly beats Fremantle and Joondalup Hospitals)."
Every time I visit Glengarry I am always greeted with beaming smiles by the friendly reception staff who are only too happy to help!
