As part of a special offering, I provide a unique ‘’Breast Care Bundle’’ for Breast care patients wanting a known and capped out-of-pocket costs for their treatment including surgery and adjuvant therapy inclusive of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, physio appointments etc. The bundle scheme has a patient navigator as a key team member who will be by your side to support you through your treatment journey.
A multidisciplinary team approach to patient management to optimise a standard of care pathway focussing on individual patients needs following the best practice guidelines. The team involves medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, radiologist, pathologist, psychologist, breast nurse and allied health staff.
I believe in providing clear instructions on after care, easy access and review, if required and a final pathology and treatment plan formulated in a week.

Background and Training
Dr Vanitha Budhavaram (Bud) is a General Surgeon, trained in the field of breast cancer and oncoplastic surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and a full member of BreastSurgANZ. She is also a GESA accredited endoscopist.
On completing her undergraduate training, she underwent Masters in General Surgery. Dr Bud also pursued MRCS program from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Following her Surgical Fellowship with Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Bud undertook accredited oncoplastic breast surgery training under BreastSurgANZ at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth and obtained Masters in Breast Surgery from the University of Sydney.
She is a member of Breast Cancer Trials Group (BCT) and the Australian Society for Breast Diseases (ASBD). She works closely with BreastScreenWA and has an established multi-disciplinary team.
Dr Bud is the Head of Breast Surgery Services in Royal Perth Hospital. She provides Breast and General surgical services at Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital and St John of God, Midland Hospital.
As the Director of Clinical Training (Surgery) at Royal Perth Hospital, Dr Bud enjoys mentoring surgical fellows, trainees and medical students and was an adjunct lecturer at the Flinders University. She has also published numerous papers relating to breast cancers and general surgical conditions.
