Nick was raised in the country and eastern suburbs of Perth and completed medical school at the University of Western Australia in 2009. He gained a breadth of experience working at hospitals in Perth, Melbourne and Darwin before completing five years of advanced surgical training in ENT at major teaching hospitals around Melbourne.
He moved with his family to Vancouver for post-graduate fellowship training in Paediatric ENT at British Columbia Children’s Hospital. Dr Fitzpatrick treated a wide spectrum of paediatric conditions and was trained in the latest North American technologies, such as 3D endoscopy and laser.
Nick returned to Perth to complete a fellowship in sinus and anterior skull base surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, treating all complex sinus conditions with an emphasis on minimally invasive endoscopic approaches.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys getting outdoors with his wife and three kids and supporting his long suffering footy team.
Nick aims to provide care for patients from all areas of WA. He services north of the river (Hollywood and Glengarry Hospitals), south (South Perth hospital) and east (SJOG Midland Hospital). He cares for children and adults in rural and remote areas through the WA Country Health Service, including east and west Kimberley areas.
