Bookings and Referrals

To access to the Glengarry Early Parenting Centre program, you will need to obtain a referral for your baby from your GP, Obstetrician, Paediatrician.

How to book:

To book in to our residential program you are required to complete the following steps:

• A Medical Practitioner is required to complete: the Early Parenting Centre Medical Referral
• You are required to complete: the Early Parenting Centre Pre-Admission Assessment, Edinburgh Post natal Depression Scale and Parenting Confidence Scale.
• E-mail all 4 forms to: earlyparenting.gle@ramsayhealth.com.au
• Once a staff member has confirmed that you are booked in for the residential program we also require you to complete the online admission form with your baby's details.

Once the hospital has received the required documentation, Glengarry Early Parenting Centre staff will conduct a Pre-admission phone interview and an admission date will be provided subject to availability.

Prior to your admission we suggest you:

• Check your health insurance coverage
• Discuss your partner's level of involvement
• Keep in touch with your GP and Child and Family Health Nurse
• Take up any offers of support from friends and relatives
